This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an existing professional team of staff to open & develop a new facility to care for children from 0-2 years opening in May 2010.

La Maternelle is a high quality facility awarded ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. We currently care for children from 2-4 years based on a school site.

The successful applicant will fulfil the following criteria:

• Be enthusiastic, warm, caring and energetic
• Be a pro-active, reflective & well motivated childcare professional who delivers exceptional childcare practice
• Be a good role model who rises to new challenges with enthusiasm to ensure good practice is delivered at all times
• Have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Experience with children from 0-2 years is desirable but not essential
• Qualification in child care desirable but not essential
• Successful candidate without a qualification must be prepared to embark on a training course which will be supported by the setting
• Applications are welcome from practitioners with a variety of levels of qualifications & experience

The rate of pay will be based upon level of experience & qualifications.

All staff are encouraged to continue to professionally develop. The successful applicant will be required to complete a disclosure application form and provide criminal conviction information.
