- We offer the 30 hour funding to all families who are eligible for this new government scheme. This will however be dependent on our availability. Children are eligible for funding the term after their 3rd birthday. The year is split up into three terms and a child’s entitlement commences at the following times dependant on their date of birth:
If your child is born between 1st September – 31st December the funding would commence from January and you would receive five terms of funding before your child starts school.
If your child is born between 1st January – 31st March the funding would commence from May and you would receive four terms of funding before your child starts school.
If your child is born between 1st April – 31st August the funding would commence from September and you would receive three terms of funding before your child starts school. - The Early Foundation Stage Grant is either 15 or 30 hours per week, during term time.
- Children aged 3 and 4 who access the day nursery will not be charged for up to 30 hours per week during term time.
- Our policy on how to implement the Free Early Years entitlement for parents using Full Day Care is to spread the free hours out equally over the term. This means each month parents receive an equal amount of the entitlement for the term, regardless of how many weeks of holiday there are in a particular month. However, please note funding is only applicable during term time. Our hourly rate for care is £4.05 from September 2020. This is the rate for the care we offer with the charge for consumables deducted. Our term dates will approximately follow the Cheshire East guidance each year. For further details please visit the Cheshire East website.
- Children are more than welcome to attend for more than 15/30 hours.
- A maximum of 10 hours can be used towards a full day.
